Hey, I’m Abhijay Arjunan, a carbon market professional with over six years of experience across renewables, nature based solutions, and technology driven removals. I have worked with project developers, contributed to grassroots policy efforts, collaborated with governments on market readiness, and advanced institutional pathways like India’s Carbon Credit Trading Scheme and Article 6 cooperation.

Leads the origination and onboarding of 200+ carbon and renewable energy clients, managing end-to-end strategy across project evaluation, design, feasibility, and monetization. Works closely with state government officials and regulatory stakeholders to enable institutional pathways into the voluntary carbon market, while supporting internal teams on CBAM-aligned, Article 6 mechanism readiness and India’s compliance CCTS market preparations.







Expanded ProClime’s I-REC portfolio from 51.5 MW to over 2 GW across 50+ clients, negotiating $1.63M+ in trades and securing $3M+ in future revenue. Structured and executed forward contracts and multi-party deals for over 4 million environmental credits across VCM, Biochar, CORSIA, ARR, and renewable-linked trades. Represented the company at over 12 industry events, forums, and webinars across India and South Asia, building visibility and onboarding global trading partners across Singapore, Japan, Europe, and the UAE. Supported structuring of ERPAs, cross-border compliance contracts, and buyer-side engagement to optimize market access, liquidity, and pricing.







At Kanaka Management Services, I balanced marketing strategy with hands-on support for business development and project origination. I helped revive a 119 MW wind energy project through multi-stakeholder negotiations, unlocking over $500,000 in potential recovery. I led the origination and feasibility work for India’s largest metro-based ACM0016 project, managing stakeholder coordination, documentation (PD, MR, ER), and third-party validations with VVBs and DOEs. In parallel, I developed and executed the firm’s PR, SEO, and content strategy, growing organic traffic by 14% month-over-month while supporting lead generation at key industry events like G20 India Energy Week.
